Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
The URcheckTM URS Test Strip is for the qualitative detection of leukocytes (white blood cells) and Nitrite in urine as an aid in the screening of a urinary tract infection (UTI). It is intended for near patient and over-the-counter, home use only. Lower urinary tract infections may involve the bladder (cystitis) or urethra (urethritis) while upper urinary tract infections affect the kidney (pyelonephritis).
