ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Representative to drive the sales of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) within the Canada market and bio-reagent on a global scale. The Sales Representative will act as the primary liaison between our business and its customers, ensuring the effective delivery of products and services to existing clients, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, and presenting our products and services to potential customers.

  • This position will be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • Flexible for hybrid work environment (Office + Home Office), and (limited) travelling
  • Flexible working time to communicate with global colleagues in different time zone
  • Communicate in Mandarin will be an asset, but not mandatory
  • Compensation package includes commission and performance-based incentives rather than a fixed salary
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals and targets
  • Collaborate with the Chief Sales Officer to create and execute effective sales plans
  • Share market intelligence with the sales and marketing teams to inform strategic decisions
  • Provide timely sales data and insights to support forecast development
  • Utilize advanced selling techniques to address customer needs and achieve sales targets through regular engagement
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships
  • Visit distributor customers and end-users to assess demand and uncover new business opportunities
  • Attend and represent the company at marketing activities, conferences, health talks, exhibitions, and trade shows as required
  • Execute presentations, product trials, and market research, and organize advocacy meetings with customers as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of territory and customer interactions
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings to receive and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate customer and user needs internally to support the development of new products
  • Understand the Health Canada regulations about the IVD usage
  • Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations and adherence to Healgen’s standards and Code of Conduct

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science science-related field or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical industry
  • A proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets
  • The ability to quickly assimilate clinical information and apply it effectively
  • A proactive approach and respond quickly
